Due to the extremely labor intensive and personalized aspect of our production process, Pomelo Press is based on a POD (print on demand) formula.
For the client, this is very good news, as it allows for some degree of customization of the greeting card line. This is not universally true for each and every card, but is generally possible if the typography is not the central focus of the design. The card above, part of the Pentimento II series, is an example of a graphic image with multiple message possibilities. Floral Sympathy II is another example of a card that may be customized freely.
On the other hand, Alphabet Blocks cannot be changed. Nor can Pastel Noel. In fact, nothing in the Typodelic collections, either the Winter or Toujours versions, can be customized. If you check them out, you will immediately see why.
In general though, what this means is that if you like a particular design, but prefer a different message (for instance “Season’s Greetings” instead of “Winter Love”), a message that is personalized, or absolutely no message at all, that is all eminently do-able. And at no extra charge.
If you would like to cherry pick the choice of cards, which, for any given theme, are offered in a pack of six, each a different color variation, that is another option.
Simply get in touch before placing an order in order to discuss the possibilities.
